Due to the drought, Mevir will allow affected producers to pay half the quota

Mevir launched new housing plans

In addition to these measures, the institution has announced new housing plans in Artigas and cannelloni.

In March, it will inaugurate a plan for 12 sustainable wooden homes and a child and family care center (CAIF) in the department of Artiguense. The inauguration of another 40 homes will also take place in a nucleated plan in the Canary Islands town of Santa Rosa.

Finally, Mevir will announce, together with the INC and MGAP, an agreement to open 22 dairy farms in 2023 throughout the country. Also, with these initiatives, the entity seeks to support rural producers affected by the drought and continue providing housing solutions to rural families in Uruguay.
