Because a truck had slipped into a ditch next to the Donauuferbahn, the Saxen fire brigade had to move out to a vehicle rescue on Friday evening. The truck got stuck in the Saxen station area shortly before 8 p.m. and was unable to free itself. After the security measures by the fire brigade, a report was sent to the ÖBB operations management. They assessed the situation on site and then gave the go-ahead to the fire brigade to tow the truck out of the railway ditch. The Saxen fire brigade was in action with the vehicle recovery with 20 men.
