Two drivers fought an illegal race on Friday evening on the Westautobahn in the direction of Vienna. In the Sipbachzell area, the speed of the vehicle in front was measured by a highway police patrol. The second driver drove close behind. The display of the laser device showed the speed of 251 km/h.
In the Allhaming area, the patrol managed to stop the vehicle in front. The second was stopped by another patrol in the Haid area. The drivers were a 27-year-old from Linz-Land and a 40-year-old Turk from the Amstetten district. You will be reported to the Wels-Land district authority. Both of their driver’s licenses were confiscated.
