In these presentations participate the “Escolas” of the elite group from among which will be elected the “queen” of the carnival 2022, which will return to parade on Saturday, March 5, when tickets also began to be sold.
Each interested party will be able to buy up to four tickets virtually on a site of the Liesa group and the tickets will only be delivered in February when the event has been confirmed.
The Mayor’s Office of the city of Brazil authorized the start of preparations for the parades of the “biggest” carnival in recent years, but under the warning that it may be suspended if there is a re-outbreak of coronavirus.
For its part, last February parades and street carnivals were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the event that the festivities are suspended in February, the next tentative date will be July of next year, as established by the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro.
On the other hand, the Government of the state of Rio de Janeiro began a promotional campaign for tourism to return next summer.
