Garbage, butts, bottles & Co. – Linz has a problem with littering, although almost 190 city employees are on the move to keep Linz clean. In their commitment to a well-kept city, they are also supported by more and more private initiatives and schools. By taking part in the “Linz makes clean” campaign, everyone can again help collect carelessly thrown away rubbish along streets, streams and public green spaces and have it professionally disposed of.
Promotion runs until June
When you register for the campaign at linzmachtsauber@mag.linz.at you will find all information about participation and the competition. There are prizes in the participation categories individual, family, educational institution (school, kindergarten, etc.) and in the category “groups”. A jury will determine the most original and/or hard-working collectors by June 15th. At the award ceremony on June 29th, Linzer City vouchers and spa tickets from Linz AG, which also actively supports this campaign, can be won as prizes.
