Date and place of collection of retirement and pensions in Montevideo and Interior
Those who receive payment via bank deposit directly, or through an electronic money instrument (Prex, De Anda, Midinero and OCA Blue), may do so from Thursday 2 Marchboth in Montevideo and in the interior of the country.
For their part, those who make the payment in the payment networks may do so from the monday march 6 at any of the branches in the capital or the rest of the country.
Payments in cash are made at the BPS headquarters in Montevideo, while in the interior there is only the option of doing so at authorized payment locations —Abitab, Anda, Redpagos and El Dorado supermarkets—.

What documentation must be presented to collect the retirement or pension?
As clarified by the BPS on its official site, those who receive the passivities must present the following documentation when requesting payment:
- Identity card current.
- Agents, guardians and curators: last receipt or photocopy of the holder’s identity card. It should be remembered that the powers of attorney expire on the date of death of the owner and, in the event of improper collection, this will begin on the same date.
