Milan boasted shows by the big houses. Star designers from Gucci to Giorgio Armani showed their collections, and Benetton also presented its fashion in the Lombard capital. It continues seamlessly in Paris, where the Prêt-à-Porter shows begin today. But first, a look back at the fashion trends “made in Italy”:
Erotic and glamorous: This is how the Gucci woman should face the fall and winter of 2023/24. The luxury label showed a lot of skin shimmering through transparent fabrics. Faux fur was used as a contrast – often in bright colors. In addition, women at Gucci can choose from an arsenal of shoes that ranges from glamor flip-flops to loafers and sneakers to fur moon boots.

Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion was also reminiscent of lingerie. The designer duo combined tulle, chiffon, lace, black bras and panties in countless variations.
Armani featured flowing shapes and silhouettes. Shimmering bronze garments brought splendor into play, fringed decorations a touch of folklore. There were also flower ornaments and glitter effects, velvet and silk.

Ferragamo set a counterpoint to this: the traditional label from Florence presented fashion with sporty accents.
Missoni, on the other hand, swears by love and joie de vivre in autumn/winter and lets roses rain down. Again and again they appeared as an element in the collection.
