She is the successor to Felix Wallner, who is retiring after more than 33 years as Chamber Director. “The work is exciting and challenging, and it’s great to be able to help shape the medical profession,” says Postl-Kohla, looking forward to the new task.
“Together with my team, I am aware that we have a great responsibility towards the medical profession,” says the woman from Linz, who has been deputy director of the Upper Austrian Medical Association since August 2021. “We as a medical profession can be pleased that Ms. Postl-Kohla is taking on this position at the head of the medical association,” says Peter Niedermoser. “The Chamber of Physicians will continue to have the usual professional clout in the future and will consolidate and expand its service function,” said the President of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Physicians.
