Will SK Verwarts Steyr get their first spring win in the 2nd football league today? After the 0:4 home derby defeat against Blau-Weiss Linz, coach Daniel Madlener’s team is making a guest appearance in Lafnitz today (6:10 p.m.).
For the fourteenth-placed team in Styria, the main thing is not to lose touch with the table. “We have to defend with passion even in difficult situations. Only results count now,” said Madlener.
With Sebastian Voglmaier and Noah Bitsche, two additional alternatives are returning to the squad, Alberto Prada is still missing due to injury. The striker Faris Zubanovic (missing red-white-red card) and the ailing Kubilay Yilmaz are not ready for action either.
