It was a tailor-made start for the LASK amateur team in the regional football league: The black and white talents ousted autumn champions Leoben from the top of the table in the third division with yesterday’s spring start 2-0. Sebastian Wimmer gave the home side the lead in the third minute after a corner kick, Gabriel Zirngast (27th) followed suit.
Vöcklamarkt also achieved a very important victory in the first spring game: Marius Brandmayr scored the 1-0 gold goal (21st) against the direct competitor Treibach.
