As the city of Linz announced in a broadcast on Monday, the employment relationship with the young woman was terminated. The now 19-year-old had shared videos of veiled girls beheading dolls while shouting slogans of the “Islamic State” on Instagram. The OÖN reported. At that time she was not yet of legal age, which is why the regional court in Linz did not inform the state’s education department and the kindergarten authority about the conviction. The repayment law provides for this.
“As an employer, the city of Linz reacted as soon as possible and immediately terminated the employment relationship. There were no signs of this in her work in the care facility“, the director of the children and youth services Linz, Josef Kobler, is quoted as saying.
