Young talents strong in slalom and giant slalom

Bad Goisern, Bad Aussee. Three young skiers from the Salzkammergut achieved notable rankings at the Spring Festival of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) in the Grebenzen ski area in St. Lambrecht/Styria. The event is one of the season highlights in the children’s alpine skiing area and is considered an Austria-wide comparison in giant slalom and slalom in the years 2011 and 2012. All those who have been nominated by the respective state ski association on the basis of their most recent achievements are eligible to participate.

Katharina Unterdechler (SC Dachstein Oberbank Bad Aussee, born 2011) finished second in the giant slalom and tenth in the slalom. Rosa Bauer (ASKÖ Dachstein West Bad Goisern, born 2012) achieved third place in the giant slalom on her debut and was fifth in the slalom. Both girls are among the best of their year in Austria. Leni Beer, born in 2011, also from SC Dachstein Oberbank Bad Aussee, was able to celebrate fourth place in the giant slalom and finished 16th in the slalom.
