Banco Hipotecario and Banco de la República will have a two-year agreement where commercial strategies of both banking entities will be strengthened.

The BHU board of directors signed the agreement in November and is awaiting the signature of the BROU, according to the weekly Búsqueda. However, previously they began with an analytical study carried out by a technical team to analyze the public of Credit cards and savings accounts of both institutions with the aim of optimizing digital advertising.


The BHU remarked that it would be interested in offering its services to BROU clients who have regular income, where it can be inferred that they do not have a mortgage loan and that their debts are a third of their income.
The general manager of Banco Hipotecario, Alvaro Carellacommented to the weekly Búsqueda that they believe it is a great achievement that two entities never complemented each other and stressed that they hope that this will allow them to work intelligently in digital advertising.
According to these banks, the cooperation pact would last approximately two years and it will change according to the intentions of each entity, although they stressed that the confidentiality of the clients of each bank will remain intact.
