So far, three systems have each generated 200 kilowatt peak solar power for the Nebelberg company, now another 300 kWp output has been installed. “This means that 900 kWp of power are available,” says Georg Oberaigner happily. “With this total output, it is probably one of the largest systems in the district.”
In addition, charging stations are currently being installed on the carports behind the office building so that company vehicles can also be charged with the electricity generated in-house in the future. Oberaigner adds: “There are also considerations of covering the entire employee car park with carports and also using them for photovoltaics. Initial calculations have shown the potential for up to 550 kWp, plus a further 100 to 200 kWp on the existing carport.” In view of the possible total system size, however, it must first be checked whether the network allows this.
