The youngsters go for a spin on the new pump track, the parents enjoy the spacious children’s playground, and the seniors sit chatting on the shady benches and enjoy the day.
The leisure and generation park has been in Gunskirchen for two years, and it has been “extremely well received,” says community worker Katharina Krennmayr, who submitted the project to Felix Familia. “It’s really busy here, especially on weekends and during the holidays.”
The square is a meeting point for all age groups and invites you to exercise, play together and relax. The offer is large: In addition to the mentioned mountain bike facility, there is play, gymnastics and climbing equipment, a skate and beach volleyball court and even a climbing garden. Awnings were erected and trees were planted to provide shade. Wi-Fi is also available in a timely manner.
Information about the application
The State Family Prize brings family-friendly projects to the front of the curtain every year. Administrative institutions are invited to apply this year. The winner receives 3000 euros. Submissions until April 6th here.
