The series has continued, since last Tuesday a total of eleven such incidents have been recorded in Carinthia. As the police announced on request, there are now first concrete indications of the authors of a threatening letter in a Klagenfurt school: the suspects are two schoolgirls.
Investigations are in full swing
The police did not give any details about the suspects: “Taking into account the age of the suspects, the interrogations and further surveys must be carried out with particular sensitivity,” it said.
The further surveys and investigations in the vicinity of the affected school, but also in other schools and facilities, are meanwhile “continued at full speed”, according to the police. In the case of the two suspected schoolgirls, however, the investigators are confident that “at least they will be able to clarify this threat”. It will probably take a while before there are concrete investigation results.
messages on toilets
On Friday, the police again warned of the consequences of such an act: In addition to the legal consequences, the perpetrators could also face compensation claims for the police operations, which could amount to several 1,000 euros.
The series of threats began ten days ago at the St. Veit an der Glan vocational school, and since then there have been ten similar incidents. The messages were left on toilets, and subsequent large-scale police operations were all ended without a bomb or other dangerous object being found.
