After ten years at the head of the Schwanenstadt volunteer fire brigade, Walter Pfeifer resigned his position. As part of their 150th annual general meeting, the members of the task force elected Andreas Imlinger as their new commander.
The municipal council of Schwanenstadt thanked Walter Pfeifer for his achievements in the past years by awarding him the Golden Medal of Honor of the municipality. Pfeifer had been in the service of the Schwanenstadt fire brigade for a total of 25 years. From 2008 he was a member of the command, in 2011 he became deputy commander and in 2013 he took over the leadership himself.
