The private sector began to show signs of a strong post-pandemic recovery late last year.

The last quarter of 2022 closed with 907,935 employed people, some 23,902 workers more than the 884,033 registered in the third quarter of that year. Likewise, the number of companies went from 177,875 to 181,351, increasing by 3,476. In the breakdown for that quarter, 13,066 jobs were created (a growth of 7.67%); another 11,890 were lost; 11,522 were terminated; and 3,480 restarted their activities.

The human services sector is occupied by women in 75.16%
In the composition of the sectors of activity according to sex, it was verified that the category “human services and human health” It is occupied by women in 75.16%, while in “teaching” the percentage is 71.85%.
