The man was stopped with his car by a civil patrol on the Alpenstrasse in the direction of Anif. The officials temporarily took the 18-year-old’s driver’s license away and he was forbidden to continue driving, the police reported.

Furthermore, on Saturday morning, police officers stopped a cyclist who was transporting another person on the luggage rack in the Salzburger Alpenstraße. During the check, it turned out that the 19-year-old Upper Austrian was drunk and on a bicycle that he had stolen shortly before in the Rudolfskai area. The man had almost one per thousand alcohol in his blood. The bike was secured for the time being and the Upper Austrian was reported for the theft and his alcohol consumption.
