- Friday August 25 (Declaration of Independence, non-working).

- Monday December 25 (Christmas or Family Day, non-working).
However, the president Luis Lacalle Pou does not agree that the holidays run, since its raison d’être is not touristic. For this to be fulfilled, the executive must modify by law, for which reason it sent a project to Parliament (which has not yet been dealt with since September 2021). As long as it is not discussed within the framework of the legislative power, those three holidays will continue to run to obtain the long weekend.
