The Central Bank will place titles for .8 billion

This Monday the first title in pesos will be tendered for 2,500 million pesos with integration that same day and with a term of 28 days. Of that total, 500 million pesos will be non-competitive placements.

On Tuesday there will be two tenders: one of them for Treasury Notes (NT), which will be for the amount of 800 million pesos and for a term of 5.9 years. The other BCU title will be for 2,500 million pesos at 763 days (April 30, 2025).

For the NT, taking into account the high demand in the previous public placements, and the flexibility with which the State can extend the award, a even higher figure after the process.

Wednesday and Friday of this week, the monetary entity will tender two instruments for 2,500 million pesos each. The first with a maturity of 98 days and the second with 198 days and both with a non-competitive placement of 500 million pesos.

It should be noted that the government proposed itself as a pillar in debt management increase funding in pesos through the placement of bonds in the local and international markets for a total of 3,785 million dollars for all of 2023.

Added to this is an increase in secondary markets (notes mainly linked to the Indexed Units) for a total of 500 million dollars for the first semester.
