The agency Uruguay XXI surveyed more than 600 foreigners who work in the technological field of Global Services companies. On the other hand, the IT Builders company carried out a similar survey of Argentine technology professionals who settled in Uruguay with the aim of finding answers to the recent residences of Argentines in the country.
The Uruguay XXI survey was carried out on foreigners from more than 30 countries, of which the 80% They come from Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela and India who work in more than 75 companies dedicated to Global Services. On the other hand, the 79% consider Uruguay recommendable o Highly recommended to settle and those who recommend it the most are foreign workers from the Latin American region.
Among the reasons why they choose Uruguay are, mainly, its quality of life, its idiosyncrasy and the people, with 34%. Also takes into account the economic and social stability with 27%, the Job opportunities with 10%, access to education and the health with 7% and with 5% for the climate.
Regarding the survey of Argentine workers carried out by IT Builders, Uruguay is the first country they recommend to settle in a 52%which is followed Spain as second option. On the other hand, they valued the geographical proximity to their country, the economic, political and social stability of Uruguay, its nature, added to its security and tranquility.
This corresponds to the initiatives carried out by the Uruguay XXI agency that promotes Uruguay as a destination for qualified talent, mainly IT talent.
