Hans Bauer was elected the new branch manager of the Red Cross branch in Peilstein. However, the paramedic training he is currently completing is not his first. The man from Linz, who has lived in Peilstein since 2009, was already active with the Red Cross 30 years ago.
As a paramedic and driver for the HÄND, the general practitioner emergency service, he always remained loyal to the Red Cross family. He is also active in these areas in the Rohrbach district. Until now: With the question of whether he could imagine the office of local manager, the decision to return to the rescue service was also made. “Whoever says A must also say B,” the pedagogue states. “As the local manager, it’s important to me to be active in the rescue service, and that’s why I’m in the middle of my paramedic training again.”
Active local office
