The police music gala concert is Alois Lißl’s last public appearance as Deputy State Police Director. Tomorrow, midnight, the 65-year-old will officially retire. Lißl began his career on April 29, 1977 as a security officer. After basic training, he served in the inspections (at that time still guard rooms) of the Neue Heimat and in the Mobile Task Force.
On May 8, 1990, Lißl completed his law studies and was transferred to the legal service in the same year. On December 1, 1993 he took over the management of the criminal police department, ten years later he became security director. Lißl has been deputy provincial police director in Upper Austria since September 1, 2012. His eventful career ends on April 1, 2023.
