Ropes course for Kirchdorf

Ropes course for Kirchdorf

Children learn dexterity and coordination through play.

Children and young people have a strong urge to move, which they have to live out. Between the ages of six and 14, basic motor and coordinative skills are learned.

In Kirchdorf, the range of appropriate play and leisure facilities is not sufficient. The VP parliamentary group also determined this in talks with families who do not have their own garden.

Deputy Mayor Alexander Hauser and municipal councilor Marlene Eckerstorfer (both VP) are enthusiastic about sports. You have suggested a so-called low ropes course.

Such a system is to be set up in the city park. Such a rope garden includes various elements with different levels of difficulty, in which balancing, dexterity and coordination are practiced and strength and mobility are improved playfully and with joy. The project was approved unanimously at a recent council meeting.

Cross-party consideration was given to installing such low ropes courses in other public places in Kirchdorf. The rope playground in the city park is to be implemented with the financial support of the “Traunviertler Alpenvorland LEADER-Region”. Companies can also make a sponsorship contribution with “building blocks”.
