The traffic cops put their focus on the so-called “road runner scene”. So they checked vehicles for technical condition and illegal tuning. Three vehicles were in such poor condition that the onward journey had to be prohibited due to imminent danger, the police reported. A moped driver with a probationary license was particularly noticeable. The driver’s seat was not even attached, and the old two-wheeler had already lost body parts. It reached a speed of 70 km/h on the roller tester.
In total, the police officers removed three license plates and filed 39 reports of illegal conversions or technical defects and six other traffic police reports. Six vehicles were sent to the state government office for assessment. In addition, 32 organ mandates were issued during the focus checks on Wednesday, and one driver was reported for possession of narcotic drugs.
