Rain and snow on Sunday
Disturbance influence is for the Eastern Alps on Sunday weather determining. In addition to dense clouds, the sun appears only a little overall, but more often south of the main Alpine ridge and in the afternoon in northern and eastern Austria. With a snow line between 400 and 900 meters above sea level, rain and sleet can also be expected quite frequently. The focus of precipitation, however, is in the north and east of Austria, but especially in the northern areas of the Alps between the Tyrolean Unterland and the Mostviertel. In the afternoon the precipitation decreases a little. The wind will blow moderately to briskly, on the eastern edge of the Alps and in the foehn valleys in the south, also strongly from the north-west. Two to ten degrees are expected in the morning. The maximum daily temperatures are six to 14 degrees, it is warmest in the Klagenfurt Basin and in south-eastern Styria.
Northerly current brings cold

With a snow line between 500 and 800 meters above sea level, rain and snow showers can be expected at times from the Bregenzerwald to the Mostviertel. Away from the traffic jams in the north, however, the sunshine prevails. Often only harmless clouds adorn the sky here. The wind comes from northwest to northeast and blows briskly to strongly in the foehn valleys in the south and in the eastern lowlands, in the Vienna Basin and on the eastern edge of the Alps. The temperatures in the morning reach minus three to plus three degrees, the maximum daily temperatures three to nine degrees, it is warmest in the south.
Austria stays on Tuesday in the influence of a northerly current. This will ensure a mix of lots of dense clouds and short sunny spells in all parts of the country until the evening. The sun often shines east from East Tyrol to southern Styria. With a snowfall level between 300 and 1,000 meters above sea level, short rain or sleet showers must be expected at times until the evening. However, most of the showers will fall in the mountains and hills in the afternoon. The wind comes from northwest to north and blows moderately to briskly in the east and on the eastern edge of the Alps as well as in foehn valleys on the southern side of the Alps. The temperatures in the morning are minus six to two degrees, the maximum daily temperatures are five to ten degrees.
