Jeweler attacked in Seitenstetten: owner beaten and tied up

The woman spent Saturday night in the hospital. At least two, possibly three perpetrators escaped with jewelry and watches. According to a police spokesman, alleged customers had contacted the businesswoman in English at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, who then wanted to show watches. However, the owner received a blow to the head from behind, which was then taped over. Finally, the victim was handcuffed.

The perpetrators wore sweatpants and white sneakers

The perpetrators grabbed jewelry and watches and fled after a few minutes. No information was given on the value of the loot. The State Criminal Police Office of Lower Austria took over the investigation and on Saturday questioned the business owner, who suffered a shock, hematoma and bruises. The perpetrators were initially known to have worn white sneakers and gray jogging pants, among other things.
