A 17-year-old probably didn’t expect that when he stole the headphones of another young person from his room in a vocational school in the Freistadt district: by locating his cell phone, both the victim and the police caught up with him.
What happened? A 16-year-old from the Urfahr area reported to the police on Saturday that his headphones had been stolen from his room at the vocational school. However, since the theft, which apparently took place on March 30, he has been able to locate her with his mobile phone. Accordingly, the headphones are usually logged in at an address in the Gmunden district. The police picked up the tip and were able to meet the 17-year-old there. The headphones were secured, the 17-year-old is reported.
