Lucky in the game, unlucky in love?
Things are going like clockwork for Fernando Alonso in Formula 1 at the moment: third in the Australian Grand Prix, the Spaniard was also on the podium in the third race of the season on Sunday. Privately, however, the 41-year-old is experiencing a turning point, as he separated from ServusTV presenter Andrea Schlager.
Both made their separation public on social media. “We would like to inform you that our relationship as a couple has come to an end. We were very happy and had a fantastic time,” reads the ex-world champion’s Instagram channel.
They have worked together on various projects and will continue to do so with great respect. The two meet regularly at work, as the native of Styria works as a TV presenter in the Formula 1 pit lane. The relationship lasted about a year.
