Argentine and Brazilian tourists are the ones that had the most income with 20,218 and 4,711, respectively.
The first figures of income and expenses of the country were released through a report from the National Directorate of Migration (DNM), carried out between Wednesday, March 29 and Sunday, April 2, with the beginning of Tourism Week, where Argentines are the foreigners who entered the most Uruguay.

This week is a time to enter and leave the country, marked by the Tourism Week for Uruguayans who take advantage of traveling so much international as nationallybut also in neighboring countries, starting this Thursday, Easter begins, which also allows them to make short trips around the region.


According to the report of the National Directorate of Migration, they entered Uruguay 92,976 people, of which 58,944 were Uruguayans. In second place, there are the people of Argentine nationality who were 20,218and the Brazilians in third place with 4,711 tickets.
In fourth place, and with a great difference with the neighboring countries, are the Americans with 1,341 people, 891 from Paraguay and 764 from Chile, while they also arrived in foreign countries mainly from Colombia, Venezuela and Spain.
Where did they enter?
The land border crossing that recorded the most entries was General Artigas International Bridge (which connects the Argentine city of Colón with Paysandú) with 23,859Secondly, there is the Salto Grande International Bridge (which connects Concordia with Salto) with 19,421 and lastly the General San Martin International Bridge with 15,153 entrances, which connects the city of Gualeguaychú with Fray Bentos.
Regarding the ports, the one that had the most entries was the cologne port with 13,542 people, which was followed by port of Montevideo with 3,820. Regarding airports, the most used was the Carrasco International Airport with 10,100 people. Second, it is found Rivera International Airport with 2,308 people, followed by Chuy Aerodromefrom the department of Rocha, with 1,755 inputs and finally the Rio Branco Airportin the department of Cerro Lago, with 926 people.
