Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the two vehicles collided at right angles at an intersection in Burgkirchen in the Braunau district: a heavily pregnant 29-year-old from the Braunau district drove with her 50-year-old mother in the passenger seat on the B147 in the village Kühberg in the direction of Braunau at the same time as a 38-year-old from the district was driving her car on the Gasteiger municipal road in the direction of Kühberg. At the intersection of the two streets, there was a collision – all three women were injured to an unspecified degree, the heavily pregnant woman and her mother were taken to the Braunau hospital by ambulance.
