If you look at the percentage increase compared to last year’s data, Argentina is the country that shows the highest figures, with a 100%, something that responds to the elevated year-on-year inflation of almost 103% that it registers, according to its latest data. Something similar to what happens in Türkiye, where minimum wages increased by 104.5% in the last 12 months.
In the region, Mexico is the second country that raised its minimum wage the most, with 17.1%, followed by Chili, with 16.9%; Colombia, with 16%; Paraguayan, with 11.4%; Peru, with 10%; Uruguay, with 8.9%; Brazil, with 8.5%; Ecuador, with 5.6%; and bolivian, with 3.9%.
