The former Brazilian president, who returned to the country after three months in prison in the US, will testify before the Federal Police in Brasilia along with nine other people involved in the smuggling case.
The former president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonarowill testify this Thursday for a possible case of smuggling of jewelry from Saudi Arabia during his tenure.

Since the smuggling attempt became known, both politics and Brazilian justice are investigating a possible link of the gift of the government of Saudi Arabia with the privatization of the Landulpho Alves refinery, located in Bahia, which was acquired by the sovereign wealth fund of the United Arab Emirates, Mubadala Capital.

Bolsonaro will testify before the police

The jewerly are valued at more than €3,000,000 and part of them were confiscated by the Personal Corporation Tax. Bolsonaro, for his part, denied any type of irregularity in the case.
