Tolls on International Bridges increase on Monday

The Uruguay River Administrative Commission (CARU) announced the price adjustments for the Libertador General San Martín and General Artigas bridges.

Next Monday the new toll values ​​will come into force in the International Bridges “Libertador General San Martín” —that unites Fray Bentos and Gualeguaychu— and “General Artigas” -between paysandu and Colon-, both administered by the Uruguay River Administrative Commission (CARU)are already in force.

In this way, the rate for motorcycles and the like is 100 pesos, while cars and trucks must pay 450 pesos.

On the other hand, the trucks, buses and mobile homes that cross the bridges and have two or three axles, the value of the toll is 1,750 pesos; for those with four axles, the price amounts to 3,000 pesos, and for those with five or more axles, 4,450 pesos.

Currently, the values ​​are at 66 pesos for motorcycles, 242 pesos for cars and trucks, and 990 pesos for buses, trucks, and mobile homes.
