First verbally, then physically, there was an argument between a 54-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district and an 83-year-old from the Gmunden district shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday. The two men clashed in front of a shopping center. After the verbal exchange of blows in front of the center, the argument shifted to the entrance area – there the 54-year-old is said to have pushed the senior walking with the cane against a wall and then thrown it to the ground. The two men wrestled with each other on the ground before they were separated by passers-by. The senior was taken to the hospital. The reason for the altercation is still under investigation.
