After a half hour delay, the ball rolls between Sturm Graz and LASK in the round of 16 of the cup. Rapid’s opponent in the final on April 30 in Klagenfurt will be determined.
LASK had the first first chances: Keito Nakamura hit the bar (4th), with the following throw-in, Ibrahim Mustapha’s shot rolled down the goal line (5th). On the other side, LASK goalkeeper Alexander Schlager parried Emanuel Emegha’s shot.

LASK and Sturm have a real cup fight, it goes back and forth. No goals were scored before the break.
Spectator taken to the hospital
The game had started late due to a medical emergency. As on Sunday in Graz’ home league game against Rapid, there was a medical emergency: a spectator in the Graz family sector had to be resuscitated. She was stabilized and taken to the hospital.

“The rescue chain was used immediately, the emergency doctor was able to start resuscitation immediately,” said Sturm’s safety spokesman Bruno Hütter on ORF. The fans had a good feeling: After the Sturm supporters in the fan sector had made the mood an hour and a half before the planned kick-off, it suddenly became very quiet. The stadium announcer had first announced that the game would not start until 8.45 p.m., but the game will actually start at 9 p.m.
The LASK fans took their seats even more late: In protest against the pink dresses, they only entered the interior after 19:08 minutes – based on the year the club was founded.
More information will follow.
