“It’s going to be a huge spectacle,” said storm coach Christian Ilzer after the narrow 1-0 home win against LASK on Thursday evening, already looking forward to the showdown on April 30 in Klagenfurt. The Wörthersee Stadium will “burst at the seams,” said Ilzer, for many it was the desired final.

The first half of the semifinals in particular was characterized by offensive, fast-paced football, and both teams were generally on an equal footing for long stretches.
