The 39-year-old passenger and the children in the back seat, aged one and five, were injured in the rear-end collision. A 64-year-old from the Tulln district was behind the wheel. The Lower Austrian was traveling in the direction of Vienna at a speed of 110 to 120 km/h when he hit a truck at around 12.45 p.m. for an unknown reason. The three injured were taken to the Wels-Grieskirchen clinic, the police said in the afternoon.
