A paraglider crashed into an iron fence around two and a half meters high on Friday at Gaisberg in Salzburg, which was erected around a transmission mast. The injured 32-year-old pilot from the district of Kirchdorf an der Krems (Upper Austria) was flown to UKH Salzburg by the C6 emergency doctor helicopter. According to the police, the accident happened when approaching the north take-off after a sharp left turn. The man attempted a flyover just above the summit of the mountain.
