During Tourism Week, more than 350,000 people entered Uruguay

The most used border crossings were Paysandú, Fray Bentos, Colonia and Salto with more than 364,284 people leaving Uruguay.

The National Directorate of Migration published the numbers of the people who entered and left the Uruguaybeing greater the number of people who went out, using the bridges of paysandu and Friar Bentos.

As reported by the immigration office, 351,260 people They entered Uruguay. Of that total, 252,466 were Uruguayans, 63,945 Argentines, 14,862 Brazilians, and 2,656 Americans. The most used border points were the Paysandú bridge, General Artigas Bridge, with 74,067 people.

This is followed by Libertador General San Martin International Bridgefrom Fray Bentos, with 73,868 and Cologne with 58,040. In last place is the Salto Grande International Bridge, with 56,732while through the Carrasco International Airport they entered 28,916 people.

As for the exits from abroad, 364,284 people came out of Uruguay during Tourism Week. The main starting point was the Paysandú bridge with 76,476 people. This is followed by the Fray Bentos bridge with 74,399 people. In third place is the Colonia border crossing, Puente Treinta y Tres Orientales, where 59,823 people left Uruguay. Finally, there is the Salto bridge with 54,844 people.

As far as airports are concerned, Carrasco International Airport 33,586 people came out. Second, there is the Rio Branco departmental airport (SURB) with 19,080 and, finally, there is the Chuy Aerodrome from the department of Rocha with 17,093 people.
