In Münchendorf in the Mödling district, a crane fell on a truck on Tuesday at noon. The driver of the truck was killed, police said on request. He was in the driver’s cab at the time of the accident.
Another man was hospitalized. According to the police, the crane operator collapsed. According to spokesman Stefan Loidl, he was not injured, but suffered a shock.
No information was available about the cause of the accident. Investigations were ongoing in the afternoon.
