At the European Championships last year in Athens, the sports club from Amstetten danced to 7th place and just missed precious metal. Now, after the public dress rehearsal in the Pölzhalle, Amstetten’s Mayor Christian Haberhauer (VP) is keeping his fingers crossed for the troop’s official departure for the World Cup in Orlando, to which the plane is going today.
“We can be really proud of you!”, the mayor encouraged the dancers, who will perform in a stage formation in the categories hip-hop, jazz and pom. Dancers from the Amstettner “Stage Time Company” form the backbone of the red-white-red national team, which will probably dance for as many of the 100 jury points as possible on the day of the competition, April 20th. The choreography was rehearsed by team trainer Denise Frischeisen, who is also the chairman of the “Stage Time Company” with currently around 60 club members: “We will do our best!”
