The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the British monarchy for some time, but the absence of his wife would further widen the gap between them.

“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will participate in the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey on May 6. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet“, indicated the palace in a statement.
