What was the tourist balance with Argentina during February?

The tourist flow between the two countries is common due to the ease of transportation and the last full month of the high season was no exception.

Still, the numbers were optimistic, with 351,260 people who entered Uruguay. Of that total, 252,466 were Uruguayans, 63,945 Argentines, 14,862 Brazilians, and 2,656 Americans. The most used border points were the bridge of Paysandú, General Artigas Bridge, with 74,067 people.

This is followed by Libertador General San Martin International Bridgeof Friar Bentos, with 73,868 and Cologne with 58,040. In last place is the PSalto Grande International Bridgewith 56,732while for the Carrasco International Airport entered 28,916 people.

As for the exits from abroad, 364,284 people came out of Uruguay during Tourism Week. The main starting point was the Paysandú bridge with 76,476 people. This is followed by the Fray Bentos bridge with 74,399 people. In third place is the Colonia border crossing, Thirty-Three Eastern Bridge, 59,823 people left Uruguay. Finally, there is the Salto bridge with 54,844 people.
