In detail, the Ministry of Industry assigned 9.6 million euros in subsidies for companies of up to 250 workers who cut at least 10% of the working day and maintain the salary of the staff for two years.


The project, for its part, coincides with the initiative taken by other countries around the four-day working day.

In this case, the hours of tasks for its workers must be reduced by a minimum of 10%. Said reduction must be weekly, that is, it is not worth continuing to work the same and increase the days off at the end of the year, for example. In other words, if a worker has a 40-hour weekly shift (the most common), he will work at least 34 hours.
