The 74-year-old informed the Linzer that a mutual acquaintance who died at the end of 2019 had inherited a condominium. For this reason, he had to make various payments for the notary, court or lawyer – which the man did between February 14, 2020 and October 30, 2022. According to the police, the sum amounts to around 80,000 euros.
In reality, the said condominium was inherited by the 74-year-old, who had already resold it in June 2020. The accused was admitted to the Linz prison after the interrogation on Thursday evening.
