The Salzburg crane manufacturer Palfinger, which has a large plant in Lengau in the Braunau district, is aiming for sales of more than 2.4 billion euros for the full year 2023. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are expected to be EUR 200 million this year, as the company announced on the basis of preliminary results from the first quarter. In the previous year, 2022, Palfinger posted sales of EUR 2.2 billion and EBIT of EUR 150.4 million.
In the first three months of this year, Palfinger generated sales of around EUR 590 million and EBIT of around EUR 49 million. The company will present the final figures on April 28th. Palfinger’s share price rose by 4.2 percent after the figures were announced on Friday morning.
