The calibrated speedometer with video recording showed average speeds of 195 km/h at the permitted 130 km/h and 197 km/h at the permitted 100 km/h, the police said on Sunday evening. At the Traun exit, the police officers stopped the speeder. He had to hand in his driver’s license on the spot, and he will also be reported.

Again and again, the police on the Westautobahn in the Allhaming area of ​​​​fast drivers in the network: It was not until the end of March that a 23-year-old Romanian was pulled from traffic for massive speeding. The young man was – as reported – boarded at up to 230 kilometers per hour on the A1 – on wet roads and rain. He could not name a drifting reason for his misconduct.

In Carinthia, too, the police had to deal with a lead foot. A 35-year-old from the Klagenfurt Land district had accelerated his girlfriend’s car on the Tauernautobahn (A10) in the Villach-Land district, near the municipality of Weißenstein, to up to 207 km/h. A civil patrol was able to stop the man.

It then turned out that his driver’s license had already been taken away in January for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also slightly under the influence of alcohol on Sunday afternoon and, according to the police, drove the car without the consent of the registration owner, his girlfriend in the passenger seat.
