Faced with this, the Vice President of the Republic, Beatriz ArgimonHe said that he awaits the response of the Colorado Party in the next few hours. “We are waiting for the evaluation. After all this process, your vote in the chamber would correspond,” he said and remarked that he plans to discuss the project “as fast as possible”.

However, the vice president remarked that they are still within the deadlines that had been proposed by the Executive and that “the important thing is that you can vote and comply with something that we know is necessary”. On the other hand, he stressed the role of the president in maintaining dialogue with all political parties, the assembly of the system and his intentions to maintain the balance to achieve a positive vote on the reform.

Bordaberry advised the PC not to accept the changes in the project
